Agreement to finance (100) projects within the “Masarat” program
It was agreed to finance (100) projects within the “Masarat” program... The Social Development Bank and the King Salman Institute for Entrepreneurship sign a joint cooperation agreement.
In continuation of what the Social Development Bank is pursuing and within the framework of its support and care for the small and emerging enterprises sector, microenterprises, and productive families in the Kingdom, the Bank signed, on Thursday, Rajab 9, 1438 AH, corresponding to April 6, 2017 AD, a cooperation agreement with the King Salman Institute for Entrepreneurship as a sponsor of the emerging projects, excellence and startup tracks for graduates and invention.
The agreement was signed on the part of the bank by His Excellency the Director General of the Bank, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Namla, and on the part of the institute by His Excellency the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Harkan, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides at the headquarters of the bank’s general administration in Riyadh.
This agreement was signed based on the objectives that the bank seeks to support, sponsor and finance small and emerging enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to the fact that the King Salman Institute for Entrepreneurship is a specialized body in the field of entrepreneurship and aims to spread the culture of self-employment and support and care for entrepreneurs, and out of the belief of both parties in the necessity of... Integration and continuous communication between entities working in this field.
Under this agreement, it was agreed to finance (100) Masarat projects (excellence, startups, graduates, invention) within the “Masarat” program offered by the bank for a period of one year.
The Social Development Bank is one of the most prominent financiers and supporters of the small and emerging enterprises sector, microenterprises, and productive families in the Kingdom, as it has provided, since the beginning of its support and financing for projects, more than (37) thousand projects in all activities and in all regions of the Kingdom.
