The Development Bank concludes the “Microfinance” training program for 20 employees
The eighth session of the training program, “Microfinance: Fundamentals and Global Experiences,” concluded on Thursday, 7/16/1438 AH, which was held at the training center in the Human Resources Development Department at the Bank, with the participation of (20) employees representing the various branches of the Bank.

The closing ceremony began with a speech by the Director of the Human Resources Development Department, Mr. Abdullah Al-Subaie, in which he thanked His Excellency Mr. Saeed bin Saleh Al-Zahrani, Assistant Director General of the Social Loans Sector, for honoring and sponsoring the graduation ceremony, where he thanked the course trainer, Dr. Nasser Al-Hamdan, for his efforts, and then thanked the trainees for their attendance and active participation. This was followed by honoring the group that won first place, the “Excellence Group,” for collecting the largest number of points for the training activities and group competitions that took place during the training program. The group included colleagues Ali Al-Zahrani, Abdullah bin Dhafer Al-Qahtani, Abdulaziz Al-Shehri, as well as Abdul-Ilah Al-Qahtani, The ceremony also included distributing certificates to all participants, and taking souvenir photos.
It is worth noting that since the launch of the program until now (163) trainees have been trained, including (99) male and (55) female employees, in addition to (9) female employees of charitable organizations accredited by the bank, and the Human Resources Development Department seeks to train the largest number. Of the bank’s employees and employees of the bank’s accredited associations within this foundational level of the training program in preparation for the launch of the advanced and specialized level of the program, noting that microfinance represents one of the bank’s most important current trends.
