Within the activities of the “Biban 2017” exhibition and forum, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Trade and Investment and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat), the Social Development Bank participates in its pavilion over a period of 4 days in the period between... September 17 to 20, 2017 at the Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center.
The opening of the exhibition witnessed the presence of the Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Ghassan bin Ahmed Al-Sulaiman, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Engineer Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah Al-Sawaha, the Minister of Labor and Social Development, Dr. Ali Al-Ghafis, the Minister of Housing, Majid Al-Hogail, and His Excellency Director General of the Social Development Bank, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Namlah.
His Excellency the Bank’s General Manager also visited the participating bank’s pavilion and viewed all the equipment, as the bank participates during the exhibition in its pavilion to introduce the products and services it provides, which target the micro-enterprise sector and productive families, and to inform visitors of developments, in addition to motivating and encouraging young people to practice self-employment. Responding to all their inquiries, as well as explaining the application mechanism, terms and regulations for each program, and providing introductory brochures about the bank and its programs.
The bank is keen to actively participate in such occasions and contribute to everything that serves the small and emerging enterprises sector and encourage young men and women with investment ideas and motivate them to launch projects that will contribute in the future to the development of the nation’s economy.
