Avenue 30 wins an international award for the best transformation project in the Kingdom for emerging projects

The Social Development Bank received the award for the best national transformation project for Avenue 30 from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading organization for project management. The bank was able to obtain first place in the transformation category in a competition with 400 government, private, and non-profit sector projects from 80 entities participating in the competition.

Khaled Abdullah Ali, Director of Channels Management at the Social Development Bank and General Supervisor of Avenue 30, said that the project contributes directly to achieving one of the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which is concerned with increasing the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the economy, as well as government rationalization by taking advantage of the bank’s branches and converting them into shared work spaces. For entrepreneurs and owners of innovative projects, explaining that this will help them in developing their projects by developing an innovative model that provides a package of services designed according to the stages of growth and needs of each emerging project, in addition to marketing the products of entrepreneurs present in the 30th Avenue community and linking them to each other in all its branches around the Kingdom, in addition to Marketing their products externally in the future through the bank’s partners, and the supervisor of Avenue 30 indicated that the bank completed the transformation of 4 branches during this year and is working to transform 12 other branches during the coming period.
