Emir of Qassim inaugurates the 30th Avenue Program at the Social Development Bank

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Qassim region, inaugurated the “30th Avenue” program, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, and one of the latest projects of the Social Development Bank at its branch in Buraidah, as it comes as part of the strategic plan to transform the bank’s branches to provide a package Enabling and qualifying services for entrepreneurs and owners of new projects.

His Highness listened to an explanation about the program, the shared work areas and spaces, the private executive offices, and the most prominent services provided, which include a shared work space of up to 2,000 square meters, more than 45 future offices, an open work area that accommodates more than 45 beneficiaries, 5 meeting rooms, and meeting capsules. Highly private offices, a freelance area, and more than 35 programs designed specifically to meet the challenges of establishing and sustaining projects.

Prince Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud described the “30th Avenue” program as a permanent workshop aimed at enabling and serving entrepreneurs to exchange experiences by creating the appropriate environment to replace employee offices with shared work spaces.

His Highness pointed out that the “30th Avenue” program confirms the wise leadership’s interest in supporting entrepreneurship programs that had a significant impact during the pandemic after it supported small and medium enterprises to enable the private sector to play its role out of belief in its importance as it is the primary engine of the economy.

His Highness the Emir of Qassim congratulated the entrepreneurs in the region for the existence of such an outstanding achievement, noting the efforts achieved on the ground, urging the people of the country to take advantage of the data and capabilities to create job opportunities for the largest possible number of young people.

The CEO of the Social Development Bank, Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Rashed, explained that the bank’s branch development program aims to transform these branches from administrative offices for the bank’s employees into interactive spaces designated for customers and entrepreneurs to enable them to launch their projects, market their products, and build platforms for exchanging experiences and information to achieve their commercial goals.

He pointed out that the focus of “Avenue 30” is to make the bank’s branches attractive to the entrepreneurial community, to act as an integrated station for entrepreneurs, moving them from the idea stage to the stage of building emerging and advanced companies, in addition to spreading the culture of self-employment, building capabilities, generating and developing ideas, and providing professional advice and guidance. Guidance, holding events related to the entrepreneurship community and benefiting from the bank’s human cadres, indicating that during the current year the bank will open 4 Avenue 30 locations in other cities, including Riyadh, Tabuk, Khamis Mushait and Dammam.

The inauguration was attended by the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Qassim, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Wazzan, the Director of the Social Development Bank Branch, Sultan Al-Harbi, the Secretary of the Emiratization Program in the Emirate, Ahmed Al-Mushayqih, and bank officials.
