Funding was approved for 3,042 projects worth more than 173 million riyals

The Social Development Bank discloses statistics for the second quarter of 2017.

The official spokesman for the Social Development Bank, Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, announced the results of the second quarter of the current year  2017 with regard to supporting and caring for the small and emerging enterprises sector, as statistics showed the results of the second quarter of payments disbursed for the year 2017 with financing The bank awarded (3042) projects with a value exceeding (173) million riyals, with a growth rate of 54%  in the number of projects for the second quarter of 2016, and a growth rate of 17% in the value of financing.

Al-Nasser detailed the distribution of project financing, where the share of emerging projects was (1,569) projects worth (82,862,020) riyals, while communications projects amounted to (1,343) projects worth (60,006,800) riyals. The graduate projects were (60) projects worth (4,354,350) riyals, while the excellence projects amounted to (54) excellence projects worth (21,454,274) riyals, and the number of funding for existing projects reached (13) projects worth (4,530,886) riyals. And invention projects (3) worth (417,750) riyals.
