The CEO thanks the Council of Ministers for approving the formation of the Board of Directors of the Social Development Bank

The CEO of the Social Development Bank, Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Rashed, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince - may God protect them - on the occasion of the issuance of the Council of Ministers’ decision today, approving the formation of the bank’s Board of Directors, Chaired by the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, and a number of members from several governmental and private sectors. Al-Rashed said: The Council of Ministers’ approval to form the Board of Directors comes from the wise leadership’s keenness to continue the development process, in all aspects of life for our Kingdom, in accordance with development plans and strategy that will contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which is compatible with the requirements of the stage, which is in the interest of the nation and the citizen. The CEO of the bank stated that the Council of Ministers had previously approved a project to amend the system of the Social Development Bank, which represents great support for achieving the strategic objectives of the bank, through expanding financing for small and emerging enterprises to raise their contribution to both the economy and local content, and creating job opportunities for young men and women, in addition to To rehabilitate and sponsor micro-enterprises, productive family projects, and self-employment practitioners.
