The Development Bank announces its funding for associations specialized in bank production in Asir and Jazan
The Social Development Bank announced its financing for specialized associations and entrepreneurs for small and emerging projects to establish coffee production and processing factories and plants in the Asir and Jazan regions.
Through its support and financing, the bank aims to create investment opportunities for emerging and small projects according to professional standards that guarantee the success of the production process, and to play an active role in encouraging and strengthening the ability of the local product and stimulating it for competition and sustainability in light of the enormous potential in natural resources .
The bank is keen to achieve many gains through this financing, including economic diversification, feeding local markets with local products, adding qualitative value to Saudi coffee through manufacturing and marketing, providing job opportunities in production areas, enabling new investment opportunities, and establishing production factories with Consumer advantage, and expanding support and empowerment of the value chain to stimulate Saudi coffee cultivation .
The bank’s announcement comes after the signing of agreements between investors from national companies and owners of Saudi coffee farms, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Jazan Region, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Center for Economic Business, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, and His Excellency the Minister of Environment. Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, and CEO of the Culinary Arts Authority Mayada Badr .
