The Social Development Bank held the first regular forum for branch managers in 2018 in Khamis Mushait Governorate.
The Social Development Bank held the first regular forum for branch managers in 2018 in Khamis Mushayt Governorate, where His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim bin Hamad Al Rashed, Director General of the Bank, opened the forum with a speech in which he welcomed the branch managers and the bank’s work team, including assistants, department heads and employees, thanking him in advance for the efforts made during the last period. Emphasizing the necessity of continuing the direction targeted by the bank, moving towards the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and implementing the visions and strategies of the bank.
This was followed by a presentation from the Director of the General Department of Strategy and Bank Affairs, Mr. Moeed Al-Bishi, about the bank’s visions, directions, strategies, programs and initiatives, as well as the bank’s goals and programs, and success stories of some of the projects funded by the bank across the Kingdom.
In the second session, Ms. Nour Al-Abdulkarim, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department, presented an overview of the complementarity of roles for the purposes of community participation, as well as building partnerships and business development opportunities. Mr. Abdullah Al-Arfaj, Director of the Thamar Prize, also gave an introductory presentation about the award, which aims to stimulate families’ projects that produce growth and sustainability. This is to enable productive families to develop their businesses and raise awareness of the efforts of the concerned authorities and providers of quality services for this sector, as this award aims to highlight the value of entrepreneurship and the importance of diversifying sources of income and creating new job opportunities, while the Director of Non-Financial Services for Micro-enterprises, Mr. Turki Al-Dubaikhi, reviewed, In the third session, non-financial services for projects, which aim to improve the performance of small and emerging enterprises and develop them to face the challenges of accessing financing, through understanding how to manage businesses, understanding the market and regulatory environment, market competition, and preventing default. He also reviewed the Professional House Program, which aims to provide services. Non-financial activities to develop and organize the economic activities of individuals, families, owners of micro-enterprises, and productive family projects. He also reviewed the most prominent goals of spreading awareness of self-employment. For his part, Rawad Al-Jibreen spoke about the Delni Business Center, which was established by the bank for the purpose of providing quality services in capacity building, guidance, and business clinics. And consulting for local entrepreneurs in general.
In the fourth session, the Director of Financial Services for Micro-enterprises, Mr. Walid Al-Mufdi, spoke about micro-projects, “results and targets,” as well as attracting associations, following up on portfolios, and preparing reports.
In the fifth closing session of the first day of the forum, Engineer Badr Al-Jared, Assistant Director General of the Savings Sector, spoke about the national savings strategy and the savings product that the bank intends to launch, as well as the results and goals of spreading financial awareness.
On the second day of the forum, the Assistant Director General of the Shared Services Sector, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, gave a presentation in the first session on digital transformation, as well as process excellence and work experience, as well as product engineering.
In the second session, Mr. Mishal Al-Qahtani from the microfinance sector gave a presentation on financial services for the finance sector, as well as financing and exploring opportunities in the regions, as well as collection and targets.
In the third session, Mr. Abdullah Al-Shehri from the social loans sector gave a presentation on social loans and the objectives of partnerships.

As for the fourth session, Mr. Khaled Madkhali gave a presentation on collecting social loans. As for the fifth and final session of the forum, Mr. Turki Al-Naqaidan gave a presentation on the draft human resources strategy and performance management system.
This forum comes within a series of forums through which the bank aims to discuss ways to develop work, learn about developments in the work of the branches, and involve them with the general administration in achieving the bank’s aspirations and advancing its development.
