The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development launches the “Sud Al Ajyal” product
His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Development Bank, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, today inaugurated the “Sud Al-Ajyal” savings product provided by the Social Development Bank in cooperation with Riyad Bank in a virtual ceremony via video communication, in the presence of the CEO of the Social Development Bank, Ibrahim Al-Rashed, And CEO of Riyad Bank, Tariq Al-Sadhan.
The ceremony included a review of the product and an introduction to it and its most prominent features, as the Zod Al-Ajyal product is the first product of its kind in the region. It is an innovative banking experience for children aged 6-18 that encourages them to save and raise their level of financial literacy under the supervision of their parents. The product also offers a package Among the financial incentives and awareness and educational materials provided by the Social Development Bank, in addition to explaining the registration steps and the mechanism for benefiting from the product, which comes in simple and easy steps by entering the Riyad Bank application, choosing the Token program, registering in it, subscribing to the Zod savings product, choosing a child’s subscription request, and confirming the subscription. .
The launch of the product comes as an extension of the awareness programs and savings products provided by the Social Development Bank in 2018 and 2019, including the launch of the first national savings product (Zod Savings Product), in which the number of subscribers so far has reached more than 81 thousand male and female citizens distributed throughout all regions of the Kingdom. Their total savings so far have exceeded more than (215) million riyals, in addition to the awareness programs through which the bank aims to raise the level of awareness and encourage saving by implementing programmes, initiatives, campaigns, events, training courses and workshops related to spreading financial awareness and the culture of saving .
