The Social Development Bank for the Business Sector participates in the dialogue session entitled “Comprehensive Sustainable Finance.”
The Social Development Bank participated today in the dialogue session entitled " Comprehensive Sustainable Finance”, in the opening of the World Entrepreneurship Investment Forum (WEIF), on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai, to support and develop the entrepreneurship environment in the Kingdom. The Social Development Bank’s Executive Vice President for the Business Sector, Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Humaidi, confirmed during his speech at the conference that the bank seeks to build a comprehensive support system for Saudi entrepreneurs, starting from guidance and training to financing, expansion and access to new markets, adding that the business financing programs provided From the Social Development Bank in the past period, its value exceeded 10 billion riyals, and this support has contributed to the creation of more than 100,000 direct jobs. Al-Hamidi added that the bank has allocated more than 11 billion riyals until 2025 to support entrepreneurs in the Kingdom and contribute to the growth of small and emerging enterprises to reach new markets locally and globally. He explained that, in addition to financing, the bank provides non-financial services through training and sponsorship to support entrepreneurs in establishing and developing their projects through its arm, the Dilni Business Center. On the other hand, and believing in the importance of partnerships in advancing the development process, the Bank signed, on the sidelines of the conference, a group of important cooperation agreements and memorandums with several parties, with the aim of providing training, qualification and care services to beneficiaries of male and female entrepreneurs and marketing the products of productive families.
