The Social Development Bank organized the first forum for project managers, in the presence and sponsorship of the CEO of the bank. This forum confirms the importance of project managers and their important role in the next stage. The Project Managers Forum is the first qualitative meeting that brings together senior leadership with all project managers at the bank, from the beginning of this year until the end of the first quarter of 2022. Many meetings and workshops were held on all internal and external projects, with the participation of all project management offices in the sectors, the departments that own the projects, and the relevant departments. One of the most important gains of this stage was compatibility with all project departments in all sectors of the bank according to a specific methodology, on the basis of which it was achieved. Aligning all projects and ensuring their contribution to achieving the bank’s strategy and annual targets. During the forum, the project management system was launched by His Excellency the CEO. This system is considered a portal and platform for project management and measuring project performance. It is an automated platform for project management methodology procedures. The Project Club, or what is called the PMO Community, was also launched by His Excellency the CEO. The Project Club is interested in enhancing communication between project managers, enhancing the culture of project management, raising awareness about it, and disseminating knowledge. The detailed plan for the Project Club will soon be launched.
