Under the patronage of the Minister of Labor and Social Development, the Social Development Bank launches Thammarat initiatives

Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Development Bank, Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis, and the Director General of the Bank, Mr. Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Rashed, the “Thamarat” initiative

Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Development Bank, Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis, and the Director-General of the Bank, Mr. Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Rashed, the Bank launched the “ Thamarat ” initiative , one of the initiatives of the Social Development Bank, as a live, interactive platform aimed at integrating productive families’ projects, free enterprises, and enterprises. Small businesses will have opportunities to market their projects of services and products with service providers and support packages from government organizations, strategic partners and support solutions providers , on Sunday, Ramadan 12, 1439, corresponding to May 27, 2018, and the exhibition will continue for four days at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center .

By launching the Thammarat initiative, the bank aims to market commercial projects and entrepreneurship, enable the process of linking service providers and projects, provide an interactive platform to enable project financing, and introduce the services and business solutions provided by organizations , in addition to highlighting success stories, qualitative projects, and awareness of self-employment and financial management for community members . The bank targets productive family projects, self-employed entrepreneurs , mobile vehicle projects , specific projects , and small projects , in addition to providers of support services for the business system, government organizations, and business incubators and accelerators .

During the inauguration ceremony, an introductory film about the bank was shown, the bank’s new strategy was reviewed, in addition to honoring the bank’s partners, and announcing the winners of the Thimar Award, which the bank had previously launched last March and is concerned with empowering productive families and developing their businesses .

The event exhibition contains pavilions for productive families and self-employment projects, pavilions for distinguished projects supported by the bank, pavilions for associations supported by the bank, immediate financing halls, an area for promoting financial culture for children, and an area for mobile vehicles. The bank will also, through its various sectors, present a number of Training courses and workshops specialized in entrepreneurship and home projects, in addition to holding financial advisory sessions, and approving immediate financing for advanced projects .

The bank will provide various packages of financial and non-financial services, productive loans in various tracks, spread and enhance the culture of saving, activate the Save Your Ambition is Greater campaign, and sign a number of agreements with distinguished projects and a number of government sectors, charities, private entities, and leading companies in the local market with the aim of providing job opportunities. For young people and providing the opportunity to start their projects by granting them the right to commercial franchise, in addition to signing an agreement to launch the first savings products in partnership with a commercial bank .
